College of International Education Holds Symposium on Chinese Language Teaching

 On May 21st,College of International Education organized a symposium on Chinese language teaching to listen to the opinions and suggestions of international students, aiming to optimize Chinese language teaching methods and improve teaching quality.

At the symposium, student representatives spoke freely and communicated candidly, actively discussing learning difficulties such as difficulty in distinguishing listening pronunciation, great difficulty in memorizing Chinese characters, and weak reading comprehension skills. Everyone also offered suggestions actively, proposing to add audio-visual materials and interesting music content for Chinese learning to further enrich classroom teaching forms and enhance learning fun. The participating students fully recognized the teachers' dedicated teaching attitude and expressed their gratitude. Many students said that they would take the initiative to learn from senior students with better grades and adopt efficient learning methods to improve their Chinese proficiency. In response to various learning problems raised by students, the teachers also answered them in detail on the spot and provided targeted guidance plans.

This symposium has established a good platform for communication between teachers and students and clarified the ideas for teaching improvement.College of International Education will actively adopt the opinions and suggestions of students, optimize teaching arrangements, flexibly adjust teaching methods, and take multiple measures to continuously optimize Chinese language teaching work.
