Using many cases, Hayter emphasizes the importance of submission guidance, extensive literature reading, writing practice, seeking criticism and suggestions, the publication process and editorial responsibilities, writing for international readers, dealing with publication refusal, and so on.

At the end of the lecture, Professor Mark Hayter discussed with the participants about their frequently-encountered problems during publication submission. He encouraged that the best authors are those who are good at revising the article.
