1. Objectives

This course aims to improve students’ comprehension of Chinese language，they can acquire some preliminary language skills, like listening,speaking,reading and writing; and daily communication in Chinese. Students can not only express their needs correctly, but understand others’ ideas.What’s more, they can learn some basic knowledge of Chinese culture through the course.

3-month program; 6-month program; 1-year program

3. Contents

1) 3-month program: phonetics, listening and speaking, reading and writing

2) onth program: phonetics, listening and speaking, reading and writing

3) ear program: phonetics, listening and speaking, reading and writing

4. Hours

1) 3-month program: 240 hours (120 periods, 40 minutes/ period)

2) 6-month program: 480 hours (240 periods, 40 minutes/ period)

3) 1year program: 960 hours (480 periods, 40 minutes/ period)

1) For 3-6 month program: Interactive Chinese, Short-term Spoken Chinese, Short-term Listening Chinese

2) For 1-year program: Developing Chinese: Reading and Writing course, Developing Chinese:speaking course, Developing Chinese:Listening course
