Ten students from HUM participatedin the 2019 Overseas Study Tour Program for Excellent College Students from August 2 to September 2, 2019. This program was sponsored by Hubei Provincial Department of Education
During the one month’s stayin UK, the students visited Oxford University,Imperial College Londonand other world famous universities, and deeply experienced their education and teaching. At Cambridge University, students took courses in industrial sustainable development,psychology, business and so on, and tasted the theme on the industry report,British and American literature, drama performance, thesis writing, careerplanning, critical thinking, financial planning, marketing, enterprise planning, rocket launch etc. All the students participated actively inthe professor's lectures, and discussions,and won the highly praise.
Besides, students also visited Addenbrookes Hospital to learn from the head of the hospital and relevantexperts about the local medical status of Cambridge community,and wrote relevant reports focusing on the medical differences between Chinaand UK.
Professors and experts of Cambridge University spoke highly of each student’s performance and efforts informal diner, and encouraged students to march forward on the way of knowledge pursuit in the future, adhering to the spirit of “the place ofenlightenment and the source of wisdom” of Cambridge, and makingcontributions to the future progress of mankind.
It is understood that the OverseasStudy Tour Program for Excellent College Students in Hubei Province is arrangedby the Hubei Provincial Department of Education department and implemented bythe Hubei Education International. Ten excellent students from HUM to participate in this study tour. As one of the "double first-class"construction universities in Hubei Province, HUM always pays attention to thecultivation of students' comprehensive quality and the development of frontier vision. In the future, the university will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with overseas well-known institutions, and create more exchange and learning platforms for students.
