From August 6 to 22,seven students of Hubei University of Medicine went to the University ofLeicesterfor a two-week exchange.

       During the visit, the Universityof Leicester introduced its postgraduate program in the Medical School andapplication strategies such as interview techniques and resume writing. The Universityalso opened a variety of interesting courses such as genomics and genetics forthe students, organized a visit the laboratory and experience DNAfingerprinting technology. At the end of the exchange visit, the studentsconducted a brief academic exchange report under the arrangement of theUniversity of Leicester, sharing the learning gains of the past two weeks.

       In addition, duringweekends teachers and volunteers from the University of Leicester guided thestudents a visit to Oxford University, Cambridge University, Shakespeare'sformer residence and other places. During their stay, Chinese and Britishstudents had in-depth exchanges, and students had a more in-depth understandingof the current situation of the social living environment in the UK.
