Hubei University of Medicine signed a Memorandum of Agreement(MOA) with Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore (ALCNS hereafter) on the morning of September 29, 2021.
The online signing ceremony is co-chaired by the ALCNS CET senior manager Ms.Tang Huie and Ms. Yang Hui, Director of the Department of International Relations from Hubei University of Medicine. Vice President Yan Shirong from HUM attended the ceremony. Participants mainly are prof. Emily Ang, Dean of ALCNS, Director Zhou Wentao and Deputy Director LimMei Mei from ALCNS side, prof. Tong Qiang, Dean of School of Nursing and histeam members from HUM side.
To begin with, the hosts of both sides introduced their representatives. Vice President Yan Shirong and prof. Emily Ang delivered warm speeches on the ceremony between the two Schools. They both spoke highlyof the achievements of their counterpart school in the field of nursing andexpressed expectations for further cooperation. Prof. Cheng Li and Ms.TangHui'e introduced their nursing program respectively, followed by the MOA signing by Professor Emily Ang and Professor Tong Qiang.

Its nursing program ranks secondin Asia and the global top 30 in the latest QS discipline rankings. While, the Nursing Program at Hubei University of Medicine is the national characteristic specialty, provincial brand specialty and the provincial first-class specialty.
The MOA this time mainly focuses on the nursing cooperation between two schools in exchanges of faculty and students, teachers’training program, joint research projects , joint conferences and workshops,and exchanges of publications, materials and information. It is no doubt that the MOA signing is of great significance. The cooperation between the twoschools is bound to further promote the internationalization of nursing education, which is conducive to train more nursing students with internationalawareness, international communication ability and international competitive ability. Various cooperation projects will be further implemented within the framework of the MOA in the near future.
