1. Objectives
This course aims to improve students’ physical health and spread China’s Kungfu culture. From this course, students can acquire basic knowledge of Kungfu and Chinese culture, and develop their interest in martial arts.
2. Duration
3-month program, 6-month program, 1-year program
3. Contents
1) 3-month program: Basic Kungfu Skills, Taichi
2) 6-month program: Basic Kungfu Skills, Taichi and cudgel-play (or swordplay)
3) 1-year program: Basic Kungfu Skills, Taichi and cudgel-play (or swordplay), Sanshou(Chin Na, self-defense), Short Weapons (Sabre-play)
4. Hours
1) 3-month program: 40 hours (20 periods, 40 minutes/ period)
2) 6-month program: 80 hours (40 periods, 40 minutes/ period)
3) 1-Year program: 160 hours (80 periods, 40 minutes/ period)
