The Department of Academic Affairs is responsible for teaching affairs. It has five offices: teaching, academic affairs, practice teaching&practice, and testing. The main tasks for the Department include: setting up professional and curriculum construction planning, to improve teaching skills of the teaching staff and course construction, choosing excellent textbooks, devising regulations to ensure educational quality, conducting research to reform training methods, and reforming teaching contents, the education system and teaching methods. The Department of Academic Affairs also makes the timetable for teaching plans, curriculum and the school's calendar; to make arrangements for the allocation of the laboratories, classrooms and teaching facilities and to assume responsibility for admission, registration and academic records, including the certificates and diplomas of the students.
