The Office of Development and Planning at Hubei University of Medicine was established in June, 2013. The office is a functional organization that offers decision-making policies for school construction and development, planning and design, studies and legal services. Its main function is to research the school's career development, to provide designed programs, offer advice or decision-making policies for the schools' crucial decisions, develop mid-tem and long-term development strategies of the university and supervise its implementation under the leadership of the university president, in combination with the state education policies and the school's overall development strategies. The Office of Development and Planning is responsible for organizing and debating major construction work in school development, auditing the feasibility and implementation of the work, and based on the school situation, developing plans for educational reform, discipline construction, professional setting. coordinating resource allocation, and overseeing campus planning. The office is also liable to collecting information, statistics, and systems or regulation of the school in order to provide guidance for the school decision-making.
